Nohemy Correa is a young Venezuelan artist based in Benidorm, which is a member of the Venezuelan Association of Artists AVAP, and he has discovered in this city evocative color and light to advance their artistic works, sometimes pointing to the hyperrealism.

Although self-taught, has continued to study art at different schools and different teachers looking to improve their style. S or exquisite sensitivity to color was discovered in his first contact with art through the ceramic art that developed in the Andes and Venezuelan plains and where he was studying art limited so began the career of law, continuing in Caracas which continues today in Spain.

There is a significant link between his work and that of the French Symbolists of the late nineteenth century. And even if unconsciously, the compositional method that uses Nohemy it would be in Gustave Moreau, and like them, also close to Fra Angelico, through color and form. But far from expressing symbolic model of the past, Nohemy faces a present reality that lies on either side of the ocean at the same time. The color and natural beauty of a multiethnic and multicultural country such as Venezuela and poise of our socio-cultural, are combined in a constant process of discovering new values in art, a new element to it, the Mediterranean light.

Especially in the work of Nohemy highlights the clear desire to express beauty in a formal setting, sometimes mildly intriguing.

He shares his life with her husband, the Spanish painter with whom Valverde Reverte continues the quest for artistic knowledge.
